Opening performance: Brina Stinehelfer "L'architettura e' l'arte di sprecare lo spazio" (Philip Johnson) Questa mostra vuole andare alla ricerca della ragione profonda dell'architettura, decostruendo lo spazio fino a risalire alla sua struttura portante. Architettura mentale e reale in un gioco di astrazioni e dipendenze, riflettendo sul mobile e l'immobile, sui materiali e sui simboli di uno spazio diviso tra interno ed esterno. In tutto questo cogliere lo spirito degli spazi, attraverso l'occhio del fotografo e non solo del fotografo, diventa una provocazione utile ad una valorizzazione estetica ed intima della realtà. Le creazioni umane viste dall'occhio umano, trasfigurate e immobilizzate nei loro particolari conducono ad un'intensa riflessione; ma allo stesso tempo e' il mondo che ci guarda, l'obiettivo e' colui che e' osservato, in un capovolgimento del senso e della logica superficiale. "Architecture is the art of how to waste space." (Philip Johnson) This exhibition is in search of the reasons why architecture exists, deconstructing space up to the bearing structure. Mental and real architecture in a game of abstractions and dependencies, reflecting on the mobile and the stationary, on the materials and the symbols of space divided between internal and external. Seizing all this; not only through the photographer's eye, becomes a useful provocation for an esthetic and intimate enhancement of reality. Human creations seen by human eyes, transfigured and frozen in their details are conductive to an intense inspection; but at the same time is the world that is looking at us, the observer becomes the target, in a topsy-turvy mode of sense and superficial logic.
